General Software Help
Downloading and opening your application
Earth Shack Software applications are delivered as browser-based HTML files. Download the application file from the link provided after purchase and open it in a supported modern browser. No traditional software installation is required.
Browser and system compatibility
- Browser: Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. Chromium-based browsers are recommended where noted in product documentation.
- Operating systems: Current supported versions of Windows, macOS, and modern Linux distributions.
- Display: Larger displays generally provide the best experience for information-dense Earth Shack applications. See individual product documentation for recommendations.
- Internet: Requirements vary by product and feature. Local application functions may operate without an internet connection, while live market, environmental, weather, news, or other external data requires connectivity.
Local data and backups
Earth Shack Software is designed around local-first operation. Where an application stores user-created information, the product documentation explains its local storage behavior and available backup, restore, or export features. Users should maintain backups appropriate to the application and the importance of their data.
Licensing and updates
License terms, update eligibility, and permitted use are governed by the Earth Shack Software License Agreement / EULA and the terms associated with your purchase.
