This page provides third-party notices, data-source credits, and attribution information for Earth Shack Software products, including applications, dashboards, command tools, and related digital downloads provided by The Earth Shack Software LLC.
Earth Shack Software products may display, retrieve, transform, cache, calculate from, or summarize information provided by third-party public data sources, open-source software libraries, government agencies, scientific organizations, amateur-radio resources, satellite-data resources, mapping or visualization resources, browser services, and other external providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, The Earth Shack Software LLC is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected with any third-party provider listed on this page. Product pages, documentation, release notes, and the product file itself may contain additional notices for a specific product or version.
1. General Data and Availability Notice
Third-party data may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, revised, rate-limited, blocked by browser or network restrictions, changed without notice, or subject to provider terms, provider disclaimers, and provider operational limits.
Earth Shack Software products are not official government, emergency-management, aviation, maritime, financial, investment, trading, life-safety, disaster-response, or mission-critical decision systems. For official warnings, forecasts, alerts, earthquake information, weather information, space-weather information, satellite/orbital data, amateur-radio propagation data, financial data, or other operational decisions, consult the original authoritative provider directly.
Provider links and credits are included to help users understand where certain displayed or referenced information may originate. They do not imply endorsement of Earth Shack Software products by those providers.

4. Vestrus — Third-Party Notices and Data Credits
Vestrus is a local-first portfolio recordkeeping and analysis application. Manual portfolio operation does not require a third-party market-data service. Users may optionally connect supported external providers using credentials issued through their own provider accounts.
Market data and company information
-
Finnhub — optional current quotes, company news, and company-profile information used for supported session-only market context.
Source: https://finnhub.io/
Vestrus requires the user to supply an API key issued through the user's own Finnhub account. Provider eligibility, plans, licensing, rate limits, availability, and terms are controlled by Finnhub. -
Tiingo — optional quote support, price history, chart data, dividend information, market context, and other supported historical information.
Source: https://www.tiingo.com/
Vestrus requires the user to supply a token issued through the user's own Tiingo account. Provider eligibility, plans, licensing, rate limits, availability, retention rules, and terms are controlled by Tiingo.
Finnhub and Tiingo information is used as optional display and analysis context. Connected-provider observations are maintained in volatile session memory while Vestrus is running and are not written into the user's authoritative holdings, lots, cash records, transaction records, saved manual prices, or ordinary Vestrus backup files.
Securities reference information
-
U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) / EDGAR — Vestrus includes a compact embedded public reference snapshot used to assist with ticker identity, EDGAR company name, and reported exchange information.
Source: https://www.sec.gov/edgar
The embedded reference is not a live market-data feed and may be incomplete or stale. It does not provide Vestrus prices, news, dividends, sectors, asset classifications, or chart history.
Inflation reference
-
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) — Vestrus Wealth Outlook provides a user-opened reference to publicly available Consumer Price Index information for inflation context.
Source: https://www.bls.gov/cpi/
Vestrus does not automatically retrieve or apply a BLS inflation assumption. Inflation assumptions used in Wealth Outlook are selected by the user.
Provider responsibility and independence
Vestrus does not create Finnhub or Tiingo accounts, determine provider entitlement, or redistribute connected-provider market data. Users are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any optional provider account, API key or token, plan eligibility, and compliance with provider terms.
The Earth Shack Software LLC is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected with Finnhub, Tiingo, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, or the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Provider names are used for identification and attribution only.
5. CORS Proxies, Browser Requests, and Network Routing
Some product builds may include fallback logic, proxy configuration options, browser-side fetch requests, or provider-safety controls intended to work around ordinary browser, file-origin, CORS, cache, or network limitations. Any third-party proxy, browser service, network service, or endpoint used by a product or configured by the user is separate from The Earth Shack Software LLC and may be subject to its own terms, privacy practices, availability, rate limits, or restrictions.
Earth Shack Software products do not control third-party provider availability, third-party endpoint behavior, browser security policies, network filtering, or provider rate-limit enforcement.
6. No Official Endorsement
The inclusion of a third-party name, data source, agency, organization, API, library, website, or service on this page is for attribution and user transparency only. It does not imply that the provider sponsors, endorses, certifies, audits, approves, or is affiliated with The Earth Shack Software LLC or any Earth Shack Software product.
Earth Shack Software products may transform, summarize, visualize, filter, cache, or combine third-party data. Such presentation is not official provider output unless expressly identified as official provider material. Users should consult the original provider for official data, warnings, forecasts, advisories, licenses, restrictions, and updates.
7. Product-Specific Notices Control
Some product files may contain bundled open-source license text, embedded data notices, or release-specific provider notes. Where a product file includes more specific third-party license text or provider requirements, those product-specific notices should be read together with this page.
This page may be updated as products, providers, APIs, libraries, release channels, or data-source usage change.
